It’s a five minute walk from Haarlem Central station. And its 20 minutes away from Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport. Haarlem is also only 15 minutes from the IJmuiden harbour where the DFDS Seaways Newcastle to Amsterdam ferry docks.

Visiting Haarlem by car might not always be the best solution. But if you do, you can park in our street. Its free but we need to register your plate as a visitor on the website for parking services Haarlem. So don’t forget to mention that you brought your car if you visit.
Reaching Haarlem from Amsterdam
Trains run frequently between Amsterdam and Haarlem Central Station. They usually leave Amsterdam Central Station from Platform 1 or 2 every 15 a 20 minutes. Keep in mind that Haarlem has two stations, Haarlem Spaarnwoude and Haarlem Central. It’s Haarlem Central you need to disembark at to visit us. Reaching Haarlem from Schiphol Airport
If you are travelling to Haarlem from Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport, you need to switch trains at Amsterdam Sloterdijk station. If you want to avoid this you can also, take Bus 300 called the Zuidtangent which runs every 10-15 minutes between Schiphol airport and Haarlem Central Station.
It’s cheaper and more convenient but it takes about 10 minutes longer. Busses are signposted when you are at the exit of Schiphol airport. The Zuidtangent is a big red bus with white letters and a grey background.
Reaching Haarlem from Newcastle
If you are travelling to the Netherlands from Newcastle (England) by DFDS Seaways ferry you can take Bus 75 from the company ‘Connexxion’ directly from IJmuiden harbour to Haarlem Central Station.
